Will it make things up?

It's built not to. It may only answer from the business info you approved. If a question isn't covered, it says you'll confirm, asks for their contact and flags the chat for you.

How much does it cost?

Chat is $29 a month with 1,000 visitor messages and Chat Plus is $79 a month with 5,000 visitor messages (one message is one thing a visitor sends). Chat Plus adds bookings inside the chat, your customers list and the assistant that makes changes for you. There's no setup fee, and we'll install it for you if you'd like. Cancel any time: you keep it to the end of the month you paid for. With phone answering: Phone at $49 a month, Phone Plus at $149 a month and Phone Pro at $299 a month, each with the website chat included.

Do I need a new website?

No. It goes on the site you already have. On WordPress or Wix you connect it from your dashboard. On Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace or a custom site you paste one line of code, or we add it for you.

Does it answer phone calls?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Phone, Phone Plus and Phone Pro plans. You keep your own number: the calls you miss forward to UNLOOK, which answers from your business info, takes a message and emails you the details.

Does it work with Google Calendar?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on Chat Plus, if you want it to. Connect your Google Calendar in your dashboard and the times you're busy there aren't offered to visitors, and every booking UNLOOK takes shows up in your calendar. UNLOOK reads only the start and end times of your events, never their titles, descriptions or guests, and it only adds, moves or removes the bookings it made itself, in a calendar you choose. If you move or delete one in Google, UNLOOK asks you before anyone is told. Your Google data is never sold, used for ads, shared, or used to train AI models, and UNLOOK's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect any time, which also removes UNLOOK's access at Google. The full details are in our privacy policy at unlook.in/privacy.

Can I change what it says?

Yes. Edit your info in your dashboard: change a price or your hours and the next answer uses it. On Chat Plus you can also just tell the assistant what changed.

Question 7

What if we get more than 1,000 messages in a month?

Accepted Answer

It keeps answering, and visitors are never cut off. We email you at 80% and at 100% of your plan's messages. If you go over most months, Chat Plus has 5,000, and you can move to it in your dashboard.

Question 8

What happens when it doesn't know something?

Accepted Answer

It tells the visitor you'll confirm, asks for their name and number or email, and flags the chat so you get an email. It won't guess a price, an hour or a policy.

Question 9

What if a customer wants a real person?

Accepted Answer

A refund, a complaint, a manager or “a real person” flags the chat and alerts you, while the assistant stays polite and takes their contact.

Question 10

What if someone writes in another language?

Accepted Answer

It replies in their language, from your info. If it can't answer, it tells them in their language that you'll confirm, and you're still alerted.

Can I switch it off?

Any time, from your dashboard. Visitors then see your offline message asking for a name and number.
