The agreement between you and UNLOOK when you use UNLOOK. Please read it before you buy.

1. The agreement
By using this website or buying UNLOOK, you agree to these terms, to our privacy policy and to our refund and cancellation policy. If you buy for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to agree for it.
2. The service
UNLOOK is an AI receptionist for your website. It answers your visitors from the business information you give us and from your website, collects their names and contact details when they want a reply, and sends those enquiries to you. You manage it from your dashboard. On the phone plans it also answers the calls you miss on your own number, takes a message and sends you the details.
3. Your account
Your account is created when you pay, and we email you a link to choose your password. Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, and for keeping your email address up to date so our emails reach you.
4. Your information, and what the AI says
- You’re responsible for the business information you give us being accurate and lawful. The chat answers from it, so keep it up to date in your dashboard.
- UNLOOK is AI. It’s told to answer only from your information and to say so when it doesn’t know, but it can still make mistakes. Check your conversations in the dashboard.
- Don’t rely on it for emergencies, or for medical, legal or financial advice.
5. Phone answering
This part applies if your plan includes phone answering.
- The calls you miss are forwarded from your own number to a number we give you. Your number stays yours. You set up the forwarding with your phone company, which may charge for forwarded calls.
- At the start of every call, UNLOOK tells the caller it’s an AI assistant and that the call is transcribed. This can’t be switched off. You’re responsible for using phone answering lawfully where you and your callers are, including any rules about telling callers that a call is transcribed.
- It answers from your business information, takes messages and sends them to you, and books times where online booking is on. It can’t put a call through to you or to anyone else.
- It isn’t an emergency service. When a caller reports a gas smell, a carbon monoxide alarm, a fire or flooding, it tells them what to do (including calling the emergency services when people may be in danger) and alerts you. Never rely on it in place of the emergency services.
- Phone answering isn’t for health care: don’t use it for a medical, dental or other health practice.
- We don’t keep a recording of the sound of a call. You get the message, and the call’s transcript in your dashboard.
6. Prices and payment
- There are two plans, in US dollars, with no setup fee: Chat at $29 a month and Chat Plus at $79 a month. You choose one when you sign up.
- Your first month is paid when you sign up, and each month after that on the same date.
- Payments are not refunded for time already paid, except when you were charged by mistake (see the refund policy).
- Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which sells the subscription to you on our behalf. The monthly fee is charged automatically each month, on the date you first paid, until you cancel, and Dodo Payments emails your invoices.
- Chat includes 1,000 visitor messages a month on one website, and Chat Plus includes 5,000 visitor messages a month on up to 3 websites. If you go over, the chat keeps answering. We email you at 80% and 100%, and if you go over most months we’ll suggest the bigger plan.
- You can move to the bigger plan in your dashboard at any time. What is left of the month you paid for is taken off the new plan’s first payment, which is charged that day. You can move to the smaller plan in your dashboard too: it changes from your next payment date.
- Prices don’t include sales tax or VAT. Where it’s due, Dodo Payments adds it at checkout.
- We’ll email you at least 30 days before any price change. It applies from your next payment after that.
7. Missed payments
If a payment fails, Dodo Payments tries again and we email you, and the chat keeps answering in the meantime. If the payment still can’t be collected, the chat pauses until you pay. Nothing is deleted.
8. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by email. See the refund and cancellation policy for how it works and when you get money back.
9. Fair use
Don’t use UNLOOK to:
- break the law, mislead people, or send spam;
- collect card numbers, passwords, health records or other sensitive information through the chat;
- try to break, overload, copy or get around the limits of the service.
10. Who owns what
Your business information, your conversations and your leads are yours. You let us use them only to run UNLOOK for you. The software and this website belong to UNLOOK.
11. Availability
We work to keep UNLOOK answering around the clock, but we can’t promise it will never be down, for example during maintenance or a provider’s outage.
12. Limits on our responsibility
UNLOOK is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit or missed enquiries, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it.
13. Ending the service
You can stop at any time by cancelling. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or doesn’t pay. Unless the problem is serious, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top and email customers before important changes take effect.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Nanded, Maharashtra, India. Before that, please email us: most problems are sorted out quickly that way.
